Cecilia graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Major in Theology and Minor in Psychology. She then went on to get a Master Degree in Pastoral Studies, with parish administration specialization, from St. Mary’s Seminary Graduate School of Theology. Cecilia is a Lay Spiritan, a lay member from the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. She worked for the Western Province’s Superior for five years in the administrative team as Office Manager.  Cecilia is a graduate of the Spiritual Direction Program from the Spiritual Direction Institute in Houston. Cecilia’s language skills allow her to be able to reach a diverse group of people in Spanish, French and Italian. Her vision and mission is to serve the community.

On her time off, Cecilia enjoys very much the company of her husband and their two adult children. Cecilia likes to read, attend the Symphony, Opera and ballet, but is truly committed to daily swimming and exercise.
